Miami-Dade County Transportation and Public Works Department
The DTPW improves the sustainability of Miami-Dade County transportation networks as part of a wider goal of creating more vibrant, livable, sustainable cities and improving the quality of life for our residents. Miami-Dade County has partnered with MDX to deliver state of the art transportation solutions for residents and visitors of Miami-Dade County.
Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT)
FDOT and Miami-Dade Expressway Authority are working to make traveling in Miami-Dade County safer and more efficient through the collaboration on multiple projects including: the SR 826/SR 836 Interchange, the Central Boulevard, the entrance roadway to the Miami International Airport, and the improvments to SR 836\I-95\I-395.

Miami-Dade Transportation Planning Organization (TPO)
Together with the TPO, the Miami-Dade Expressway Authority works to develop transportation planning solutions that will address future transportation concerns in Miami-Dade County. All MDX projects are incorporated in the TPO Long Range Transportation Plan.

Florida's Turnpike Enterprise (FTE)
FTE is part of the Florida Department of Transportation and it oversees a 460-mile system of limited-access toll highways. In addition, FTE is responsible for operation and management of the SunPass® Prepaid Toll Program. MDX is partnering with the Turnpike on several projects where their systems connect to offer a more efficient and effective solution to joint projects.

Florida Highway Patrol (FHP)
The Miami-Dade Expressway Authority and FHP work together to ensure the safety of everyone traveling on the MDX system. FHP is responsible for the law enforcement on MDX roadways.

Florida's 511 Traveler Information System
The Miami-Dade Expressway Authority together with FDOT are able to keep Miami-Dade County's drivers informed with real-time traffic conditions and lane closure information on all of South Florida's roadways.
